How much solar system do you actually need?
Enter your monthly CEB bill or your consumption in kWh — we'll estimate the right system size, panel count and an indicative price, based on Mauritius's own tariffs and sunshine.
"We right-size every system to what a home actually consumes — never oversell capacity." — DOJO design philosophy
Tell us about your electricity use
Look for the total on your latest CEB bill. We convert it to kWh using the official domestic tariff (110/120/140).
Find this figure on your CEB bill, usually labelled "Consumption (kWh)".
How we calculated this
This is a planning estimate, not a quote. Here's exactly what it's based on:
- Bill → kWh: we reverse the official CEB domestic energy tariff (Tariffs 110/120/140, identical energy rates:
Rs 3.63/kWhfor the first 25 kWh, rising in tiers toRs 13.06/kWhbeyond 2,000 kWh), after removing the fixed Rs 20 meter rental and Rs 150 TV licence. It doesn't include the minimum monthly charge, which can apply to very low usage. - System size: sized so your panels can produce roughly your full monthly consumption, using Mauritius's average yield of
~4.4 kWh per kWc per day(≈1,600 kWh/kWc/year). - Battery: every estimate includes a battery, since CEB has required at least 3 hours of evening autonomy for new residential solar connections since April 2026.
- Price range: interpolated from DOJO's own residential packages — Essential (~3.5 kWc), Standard (~5.8 kWc) and Premium (~9.4 kWc) — ±10% for site-specific variation.
